Wale has premiered the official music video for his song "The White Shoes". Arriving on Monday, March 30, hours before his "The Album About Nothing" is scheduled to hit the stores, the cinematic visuals follows a young boy who gets bullied because of his old, dirty white shoes.
The boy works hard to purchase a new pair of white shoes from Wale who plays a worker at a sneaker shop. He tries them on and feels that everyone now looks at him differently. However, he ends up getting assaulted by a group of jealous teens who also rob his new shoes.
Wale then learns of the incident when reading a newspaper. Towards the end of the clip, he and his friends take over the streets to pay tribute to the boy.
"The Album About Nothing", which marks Wale's fourth studio effort, is out on Tuesday. In addition to "The White Shoes", the project features the rapper's collaborations with the likes of Usher, J. Cole, Jeremih and SZA.
