Bruce Jenner's Son Burt Reacts to Jamie Foxx's 'Transphobic' Joke

Burt says, 'I think he is just copying Kevin Hart because Kevin Hart is taking all his movie opportunities.'

Bruce Jenner's son Burt has broken his silence on Jamie Foxx's "transphobic" joke during iHeartRadio Awards. Speaking to TMZ at LAX on Monday, March 30, Burt said the "Django Unchained" actor was "just copying Kevin Hart."

"I think he is just copying Kevin Hart because Kevin Hart is taking all his movie opportunities," Burt said, "He's copying him - man's on a roll and Jamie Foxx is on the way down. [Hart's] got his mojo going so he's got to copy what's working."

When asked if Kevin also made fun of Bruce during Justin Bieber's roast, Burt replied, "Yeah he did, in front of my little sister [Kendall Jenner]- he got lucky. You can make jokes about my dad all you want but you can't make some jokes in front of my sister, making my sister feel awkward."

Asked if he was upset with Kevin's joke, Burt said, "I would have charged the stage. If security got to me beforehand, I would've thrown something at him."

Jamie received social media backlash after joking about Bruce's gender transition during his monologue at iHeartRadio Awards on Sunday, March 29. On Monday, he was slammed by LGBT-youth group The Trevor Project.

The organization said in a statement, "Insensitive comments made in the media only exacerbate the problem. Given all the struggles that LBGTQ youth face on a daily basis, comments like these don't help to promote an atmosphere of tolerance and understanding."
