Bobbi Kristina Brown is reportedly in a stable condition in a hospital after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia.
Bobbi Kristina Brown is in a stable condition after being rushed to hospital following a bathtub incident. The only daughter of Whitney Houston with ex-husband Bobby Brown is put in a medically induced coma after being found unconscious in her bathroom.
The 21-year-old was found by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend almost drowned with her face down in a tub full of water at her townhouse in a Roswell subdivision outside Atlanta. The incident happened nearly three years after her famous mother died in the same manner.
They called 911 and started CPR while waiting for paramedics. A police officer who responded to the scene took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to North Fulton Hospital and taken to the intensive care unit where doctors stabilized her breathing.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are still scarce. Just after midnight before the incident happened, Bobbi posted a couple of selfies on Instagram.
"We are interviewing all the family members and friends that were at the house at the time," a police spokesperson told CBS Radio News. "...We don't know that if it was an accident or what this could be." It's unclear if Gordon came home to find his wife in the bathtub or he had been in another part of the house.
After a search, police reportedly found no illicit substances at the house in Roswell, Georgia. It's not disclosed if Bobbi had drugs in her system when she was taken to the hospital.
