Drake made headlines earlier this week after he appeared to "diss" Rihanna during his headlining set at 2014 OVO Festival. Fans speculated that the Toronto rapper tried to call his ex-girlfriend a devil when he was performing "Day in the East" while a fiery image of the Bajan beauty appeared on the big screen between three flashes of the number "6".
Drake then took to Twitter on Wednesday, August 6 to clear the air, explaining that he just wanted to show love for his hometown and for RiRi. "My album title is 'VIEWS FROM THE 6'. The 6 is Toronto," he wrote. "Rih is a great girl who I know is about to kill this tour with Eminem. It's all love!!"
Drizzy's new album, the follow-up to last year's "Nothing Was the Same", is scheduled to be released later this year. Meanwhile, Rihanna is slated to join Eminem for the first show on their co-headlining tour on Thursday night, August 7 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
