The former Disney star, who will meet pal Demi Lovato at the singing competition, will also perform at the halftime show during an upcoming game between Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders.
Gomez is set to perform "Slow Down", a hit single off her newest album "Stars Dance". The singer's first solo set was a success as it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 after being released back in July.
Additionally, Gomez has also been announced as a headliner at the halftime of an upcoming game between Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders. The ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber is expected to perform some of her hits at the event that will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on November 28.
"I'm so excited to be here," Gomez told the press at an official announcement on Sunday, November 3. "I'm from Texas, so I'm a little nervous, I'm not going to lie. But I'm very honored and I hope that we come -me, my dancers and my band- and we give Texas a really good show and I make them proud."
The 21-year-old entertainer is close to wrapping up the North American leg of her "Stars Dance" tour. The tour that features Emblem3 and Christina Grimmie as the opening acts is set to finish on November 26 at Detroit's The Palace of Auburn Hills.
