Nipsey Hussle's Family Plans Memorial Service at Staples Center
The service will reportedly take place on April 11, nearly two weeks after he was gunned down by suspect Eric Holder outside his Marathon Clothing store in Crenshaw, Los Angeles.
A huge memorial service for the slain rapper Nipsey Hussle will reportedly be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old was shot outside his Marathon Clothing store in Crenshaw, L.A., last Sunday, March 31. The hip-hop star and activist, real name Ermias Davidson Asghedom, was pronounced dead after being admitted to a local hospital.
According to TMZ, the rapper's family has arranged the service to take place on Thursday, April 11, and tickets will be sold for the event at the 21,000 seat venue.
A memorial service was held for the pop icon Michael Jackson at the Staples Center, following his death in 2007.
Police arrested and charged suspect Eric Holder days after Nipsey was shot and killed, with his bail set at just over $7 million (£5.3 million).
He later appeared in court and was slapped with one count of murder, two of attempted murder, and one of possession of a firearm by a felon.
