Lady GaGa Makes Surprise Appearance in Front of All Five Former Presidents at Benefit Concert

Sporting an elegant look, the 'Million Reasons' songstress surprises everyone with her appearance at One America Appeal's benefit concert, performing in front of all five living former presidents.

Lady GaGa made a surprise appearance at One America Appeal's benefit concert called "Deep from the Heart: One America Appeal Concert" on October 21. The concert, which all five former presidents (Jimmy Carter, George H. W, Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama) attended, was held to help raise funds for hurricane's victims, including those in Florida and Puerto Rico.

Wearing a low cut white suit, the "Perfect Illusion" singer delivered a short speech before performing her songs. She said, "It is such an honor to be here. Thank you so much for coming together in such compassion. I feel very very honored and humbled."

"I was thinking about that I thought the most special thing of all is how pain is such an equalizer," she continued. "And in a time of catastrophe, we all put out differences aside and we come together. Because we need each other or we can't survive. This is a historical moment; that we are truly one nation under God."

GaGa then started performing a piano medley of her hit songs, which were "Million Reasons", "You and I" and "The Edge of Glory". The audiences, including the five former presidents, were amazed by her performance that they gave the "Born This Way" hitmaker a standing ovation.

The co-founder of Born This Way foundation then took it to Instagram to share how she felt about performing in front of the former presidents. GaGa posted a picture of herself together with the former presidents and captioned it, "It was an honor to be invited by these five living Presidents to perform and speak at this historic event where we put our differences aside, and put humanity first in the face of catastrophe."

Meanwhile, the five former presidents also delivered a speech at the concert. Former president Barack Obama, who received the most cheers among them, said, "So all of us on this stage tonight could not be prouder of the responds of Americans when they see their neighbors, when they see their friends, they are strangers indeed, and American step up."

"And it's heartbreaking as the tragedies that took place here in Texas and then Florida and Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands have been, what we've also seen is the spirit of America as its best," he added. "We're ordinary people step up and do extraordinary things."

Current president Donald Trump couldn't come to the event, but he left a message through a pre-recorded video saying that the five living former presidents were playing a tremendous role. "Milania and I want to express our deep gratitude for your tremendous assistance," he said.
