Cardi B Calls Hotel Staff 'Racist' After Getting Kicked Out of Hotel for Weed Allegation

The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker shared details of the incident on Twitter on October 22 and denied that she ever smoked weed.

Cardi B said she was kicked out of a hotel in Albany. The rapper was staying at the Hilton Albany in Albany, New York after performing at the Times Union Center on October 21. Other guests were complaining about the noise and weed smell coming from her room, leading to the rapper getting confronted by the hotel security. She eventually had to leave the hotel.

In a video that was posted by TMZ, Cardi was seen leaving the hotel with an unidentified man and her crew. She called someone a "racist motherf***er" and knocked down a display. The unidentified man tried to calm her down by wrapping his arm around the "Bodak Yellow" rapper. However, Cardi was so angry that she refused to be calmed down, yelling, "Get off of me."

Cardi then took it to Twitter to share the details of the incident. She tweeted on October 22, "So me & my team got kicked out of this hotel in Albany cause my floor smell like weed mine You I hate weed & nikkas do not smoke it."

Following the tweet, she also posted a series of videos on Instagram, which were soon deleted by the rapper, giving more details about the incident. She even called the police "racist."

"You wanna know something? Albany is known for being racist," she said. "The floor that I was staying in my hotel room, it smelled like weed. So the cops came in in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and on my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out."

She added, "Everybody knows that I do not smoke weed; I get very paranoid. And none of my team members smoke weed. We could all get drug tests -- nobody smokes. Nobody smokes. Especially when I'm sleeping and.... you're not gonna do that to me."

"That s**t is not f***ing right. Like, n***as was really being racists. Motherf***ers was being prejudiced and picking on who the f**k they thought that was smoking weed and you got the wrong f***ing one," she continued. "So for motherf***ers to just say like, 'Oh, we're kicking you guys out because there's a smell of marijuana,' So why don't y'all search the room?"

Cardi continued, "And then they told us that earlier, there was some rap artist that was smoking weed and they got kicked out too. We're not associated with them. So why- I just can't, really. I really can't."

Albany police stated that no evidence pointed to the weed coming from Cardi's room, but the rapper left the hotel nonetheless. The police also said that no one was arrested and denied the allegations of racism.
