Eminem Among Headliners of 2016 Lollapalooza South America

The rapper will be joined by Florence and the Machine, and Jack U among others in Brazil, Chile and Argentina dates.

Eminem is confirmed as the headlining act of Lollapalooza South America. This will mark his first return to live stage following a year off the radar.

Eminem, together with Mumford & Sons, Florence and the Machine, and Jack U, is the main act in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. In all three legs of the fest, they will be supported by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Snoop Dogg, Tame Impala and Alabama Shakes among others.

For Eminem, this would be his first live performance since appearing at The Concert for Valor in Washington, DC in November 2014. It is yet clear whether his return to the spotlight means he would present new materials or new album. His latest release was "MMLP2" in 2013. Lollapalooza will also be the rapper's first performance in Chile and Argentina and his second in Brazil.

Lollapalooza will hit Brazil first on March 12-13 at Autodromo de Interlagos in Sao Paulo before moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 18-19. Without a break, the fest continues in Santiago, Chile on March 19-20. Complete line-up can be found at Lollapalooza.com.
