The duo gives tattoos, which read 'SKWAD', on the director's and the Rick Flag depicter's hands during a break of filming the movie which focuses on DC supervillains.
While the production continues on "Suicide Squad", the crew and cast seemed to have a little fun on the set. Margot Robbie and Will Smith put some permanent ink on co-star Joel Kinnaman and writer/director David Ayer respectively.
Ayer posted on Twitter an image which shows Robbie in full costume and makeup as Harley Quinn giving him a tattoo which reads "SKWAD." The word could represent the way they spell "squad" on the streets. Before he posted the image, he uploaded an image which teased "Harley's Tattoo Parlour."
Excited with the new tattoo Smith gave to him, Kinnaman posted a photo on his Instagram, showing off a tattoo of "SKWAD" word on his left biceps. "Got my #skwad tattoo:) Will has many many talents, tattooing is not one of them. It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter. #suicidesquad #willsmith #harleystattooparlour," he wrote.
The new photos remind fans of the now-infamous one where Quinn wields a tattoo gun behind The Joker. Some speculated that Quinn might be the one responsible for all those crazy Joker tattoos.
Based on DC comics, the story centers on imprisoned villains recruited by a government agency to perform black operations in exchange for clemency. Also in the cast are Jared Leto (The Joker), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang) and Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina). The film will open in the U.S. on August 5, 2016.
