Rihanna Hints at Beyonce-Esque Surprise Album

The singer also says in an interview during the premiere of MAC's movie 'It's Not Over' that she hopes to release her new album 'very soon

Rihanna shared some details about her highly-anticipated new album while she attended the premiere of MAC's AIDS film "It's Not Over" on Tuesday night, November 18. Talking to Entertainment Tonight as she hit the red carpet, the singer revealed what to expect from the record and when fans would get it.

The "Diamonds" singer hoped she could drop the follow-up to 2012's "Unapologetic" "very soon." She said, "I'm really excited about the music that we've been working on, so I can't wait for everybody to hear it."

According to Entertainment Tonight, RiRi also told reporters that she might pull a Beyonce Knowles by releasing a surprise album. However, she didn't explain the plans further.

Rihanna's statement falls in line with a recent report saying she already had several songs for the new LP that's planned for release before 2014 ends. Dash Radio's DJ Skee last week claimed the singer took some bosses of her record label to a "top secret location" in New York City where she played them ten new songs.

The deejay additionally revealed that there's one song titled "I've Been Searching for Something to Ignite Me When I'm Alone" that might be released as a single.
