Brad Pitt Talks About His and Angelina Jolie's 'Dysfunctional Honeymoon

The 50-year-old actor and his wife spent their vacation filming their new movie 'By the Sea' in Malta after they got married on August 23 in France.

Brad Pitt talked about his marriage to Angelina Jolie and their honeymoon in an interview with Extra at the premiere of "Fury" in Washington D.C. When asked if their "By the Sea" filming in Malta was a honeymoon, Brad replied, "It's a completely dysfunctional honeymoon."

Brad then explained the project, "It's a really elegant kind of... sparse story that she has written about a dysfunctional couple. It's really about grief, it's a couple dealing with grief." The "Mr and Mrs Smith" actor added, "And yes, this is our honeymoon. It's not a bad place to be, I'll tell you that."

Asked if he still felt weird of calling Angelina his wife, Brad replied, "It was something we thought we'd do for the kids and family but certainly walked away with. It means something, it's not just a piece of paper. I thought we were as deep as you could get with six kids and it upped the ante."

During the interview, Brad was asked if George Clooney was mad because he didn't attend George's wedding to Amal Alamuddin. The "Moneyball" actor replied, "I don't think so." Asked if he'd sent a gift to the newlyweds, Brad answered, "Not yet."

Brad stars in "Fury" along with Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman and Jon Bernthal. The World War II flick is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on October 17.
