Big Brother Africa 9 to begin next month...
Organisers of the popular Big Brother Africa have announced that the fire incident the Big Brother Africa house in Johannesburg, the highbrow Sanani Studios will not stop them from moving on with the show. In a statement, producers of the continental reality show said they explored all possible options regarding sourcing for another venue both locally and internationally to ensure that fans and enthusiasts of the show were not kept in the lurch, adding that a new venue has been secured for the show. In trying to source for another venue, the team in charge of production said a multitude of factors had to be considered which include the complex technical requirements, logistics, technical crews and satellite link facilities which have all formed part of the challenge. For M-Net and Endemol SA, the last 48 hours have been very challenging, following the devastating inferno that engulfed the Sasani Studios which had been the home of the popular Big Brother Africa reality show for the past 8 seasons. Although the organises refused to disclose the new venue for the production this year, it is expected to be located in the Rainbow nation and further details will be released in due course. ‘M-Net is delighted to assure all its Big Brother fans that their favourite reality show will launch soon and thanks fans from across the continent for their support during the last two days,’ the statement said.
