South Africa Idols Review: Episode 21
Tuesday nights
mean it is time for goodbyes on Idols SA. We were down to the Top 6 Contestants
who gave their all in the showstopper themed Episode.
But it was not
enough for Crystalene Nair who did not receive enough votes to keep her
progressing to the Top 5.
Crystalene has
had a great time on the show. She last performed Rihanna's "Right
Now" for the showstopper. Unathi commented on how sexy she looked and
Gareth agreed that he'd never seen her looking better. He also thought it was
her best performance in a long while. "You were so sexy! You felt
yourself!" Unathi praised. "And you have to feel yourself for us to
feel you." But Randall said he wasn't moved during Crystalene's original
Audition in Durban, "and tonight I wasn't moved either," he shrugged.
He said Crystalene's performance just "didn't sizzle".
The guest star on
stage for tonight was none other than the talented Danny K. He is no stranger
to the show, having been a Guest Judge, a mentor and performing with last
year's Contestants for the SHOUT campaign.
