Jay-Z has ended Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs' three-year reign at the top of Forbes magazine's highest-paid hip-hop acts countdown.
The rapper has topped the 2018 list with a $76.5 million (£59 million) haul over the past 12 months, thanks to the success of his 4.44 solo album and his joint release with wife Beyonce Knowles, "Everything Is Love", as well as their ongoing "On The Run II" world concert trek.
Diddy falls to second with a $64 million (£49 million) fortune, while Kendrick Lamar is third with $58 million (£45 million).
Drake and J. Cole round out the top five in fifth place with $35.5 million (£27.3 million) while Dr. Dre and Nas are tied for sixth with $35 million (£26.8 million).
It has been a good year for Jay-Z all round - in March, he was named the wealthiest hip-hop star in the world by Forbes with a net worth of $900 million (£690 million).
