50 Cent was arrested for using profanity onstage in the Caribbean on Saturday, June 25, according to TMZ. The rapper, who is also known as Curtis Jackson, was taken to the police station after he used the word "motherf**ker" in front on 40,000 attendees during his performance at a music concert.
The 40-year-old rapper was performing on the island of St. Kitts when the arrest was made. According to the site, the rapper "had been warned not to use profanity during his performance."
His rep said the rapper wasn't booked to perform, but he's only booked to host the show. "Mr. Jackson was only booked to host the show, when he arrived at the festival organizers asked him to perform, he obliged and used the DJ they had there," his rep said in a statement to E! News. "Unfortunately, they didn't have the clean version to his tracks, so there were profanities used during his performance."
"The show was a great success and he will make sure for future trips to St. Kitts that he leaves the 'motherf*****s' in the United States," the statement continued. The rep also said that 50 Cent already left the city after going to court and paying a fine.
