The wait for Selena Gomez's next "Revival" single is finally over. On Wednesday night, September 9, the 23-year-old singer made the song called "Same Old Love" available as instant download for fans who pre-order her album, scheduled to arrive on October 9.
On the mid-tempo break-up tune, Selena tells her ex-boyfriend who's hurt her several times that she's not giving him another chance. The track was co-written by Charli XCX, who appears to join Selena on the chorus.
"I'm so sick of that same old love, that s**t, it tears me up/ I'm so sick of that same old love, my body's had enough," they sing. "I'm so sick of that same old love, feels like I've blown apart/ I'm so sick of that same old love, the kind that breaks your heart."
"Same Old Love" serves as a follow-up to the A$AP Rocky-assisted "Good for You" which peaked at No. 9 on Billboard Hot 100 following its release a few weeks ago. The newer song came shortly after Selena unveiled the official tracklist of her "Revival" album via a handful of sexy GIFs she shared on Twitter.
