Justin Bieber needs some time before starting another relationship after his split from Selena Gomez. In an interview with Australian radio's "Kyle & Jackie O" show on Tuesday, September 8, the "Baby" hitmaker revealed that he got his heart broken and wanted to "let that heal up."
"I haven't been in a relationship for a while, I'm chilling and just hanging out. Just being by myself," he told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson. "I am a relationship type of guy, I love to be in love and I love cuddling and I love all of that kind of stuff but I got my heart broken and so I'm just going to let that heal up."
Bieber set the record straight on rumors about graffiti which allegedly read, "Selena," on his "What Do You mean?" music video. "I think that might be fake," he said, before questioning what the hosts were referencing. When the hosts said they were referencing the music video, Bieber replied, "That wasn't me who did that."
The 22-year-old singer recently granted 250 wishes for children through Make-A-Wish Foundation. He said he loved being around children because they allowed him to be himself. His experience made him relate himself to King of Pop Michael Jackson.
"I think there's a lot of the misconceptions that they had about Michael Jackson. He wanted to be around kids because they are just innocent and he never wanted anything from them," he said. "I don't know if I believe all the stuff going on about Michael but that's just my opinion."
