Three years after its release, "Glory" finally gets a music video treatment. Jay-Z took to his new music streaming service Tidal on Thursday, April 16 to premiere the visuals for the song he wrote to celebrate the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy.
The video is mostly made up of footage from the rapper's rehearsal sessions for his 2012 benefit shows at Carnegie Hall for the Shawn Carter Foundation. Making cameo appearances are some of his famous friends including Alicia Keys, Nas, Liza Minnelli and Bridget Kelly.
"Glory" was produced by The Neptunes. The song was recorded and released just days after Hova's wife Beyonce Knowles gave birth to their first child, Blue, in 2012.
In addition to the "Glory" clip, Tidal has exclusively premiered projects by other high-profile musicians including Bey, who recently dropped "Die With You" to celebrate her seventh wedding anniversary with Jay-Z, and Rihanna, who debuted her "American Oxygen" video.
