Jay-Z and Beyonce to Release Joint Album on Tidal, Says DJ Skee

DJ Skee, who broke the news that the power couple was working on a collaborative album, says the record is almost done and will be premiered exclusively on Tidal.

New updates on Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles' highly-anticipated joint album have emerged. DJ Skee, who broke the news last year that the power couple was readying the collaborative effort, revealed on Wednesday, April 22 that the project was "nearing completion" and when it's done, it'd be made available exclusively on the rapper's Tidal.

So far, neither Hova nor his wife has confirmed or denied DJ Skee's statement. The two superstars, in fact, haven't even said anything about working on a record together, although producer Detail confirmed a few weeks ago that there would indeed be a Jay-Z/Beyonce album coming out.

"I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil, and then me and Beyonce and Jay-Z are actually doing something together this year," he told Billboard back in Februry. "When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think 'album.' You should already know."
