On Friday, April 24, 2015, the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti music dynasty will remind fans and lovers of Afrobeat why the genre is so loved withing and outside Nigeria’s borders through a concert that has been tagged the 2 Kings Concert.
The unusual concert will be headlined by the late Afrobeat legend’s children, Femi Kuti and Seun Kuti. The show is scheduled to hold at Eko Hotels & Suites and will also serve as an album launch event for Seun Kuti’s album.
If held according to plans, it would marks the first time the Afrobeat brothers would come together for a huge concert and trhill fans who have been left wondering why the two have not collaborated through the years.
