FilmHouse Cinemas To Open 15 New Outlets Across Nigeria
Filmhouse Cinemas has revealed plans to open 15 new cinema outlets in several locations across the country between this month, November 2014 and next year. This was disclosed by the Managing Director, Filmhouse Cinemas and FilmOne Distribution Company, Kene Mkparu at an industry session at the ongoing Africa International Film Festival in Calabar on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
‘Filmhouse Cinemas is ready to open to 5 new cinema outlets in 5 different cities across the country. There would be an additional 10 more outlets opening in other cities across the country in 2015. This is to solidify our stand as a leader in the growing cinema business in Nigeria, and also to further contribute to the growth and strengthening of the film industry in the country,’ Mkparu said. The company currently has outlets in Ibadan, Lagos, Calabar, Warri, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
