Ji Nilsson, the singer, says that the No Doubt frontwoman's new song, produced by hitmakers Benny Blanco and Ryan Tedder, sounds very similar to her 'Heartbreakfree'.

A Swedish singer claims that Gwen Stefani's new single "Baby Don't Lie" is a rip-off. The musician named Ji Nilsson recently said on Twitter that the No Doubt vocalist's first song in eight years sounded very similar to her track called "Heartbreakfree".

"People all over the internet are saying @gwenstefani s Baby Don't Lie sounds just like my previous single 'Heartbreakfree'! Do u agree?" she asked her Twitter followers before explaining some people around her told her about the similarities between "Baby Don't Lie" and "Heartbreakfree".

"I have not been sitting around waiting to say that a famous artist copied the production of my song. Blogs started to write about it and people agreed so I listened to Baby Don't Lie and yes, I agree that the production sounds alot like Heartbreakfree," she continued.

"I love @gwenstefani and No Doubt, 'Don't Speak', 'Just A Girl' and 'Cool' are AMAZING songs," she added. "Thanks for all the <3 and support! I'm super happy that a lot of people are discovering my music!"

"Baby Don't Lie", which was released on iTunes on Monday, October 20, was co-produced by Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella. It will be featured on Stefani's new solo album that's reportedly set for December. An accompanying music video, directed by frequent collaborator Sophie Muller, was released on Tuesday.
