The 22nd of march 2014 is definitely a day that the whole of africa will not forget in a hurry, following the live transmission of the wedding on hiptv which is on dstv cable network across africa. The classic event had in attendance political topshot, movie stars and musicians alike. The governor of rivers state was represented by his wife. Julius agwu was the anchor for the event and music was supplied by sharp band, dj Stramborella and dj jimmy jatt. Dj stramborella who put up a spectacular performance the night before, at the poolside of swiss international hotels, where all celebrities friends and relative converged for a pre wedding shinding. Dj stramborella took it to another level dropping classic tunes that got everybody dancing, and we saw jude okoye miming to some old school raps.
The wedding proper on saturday 22nd of march 2014, was not different, as we experienced dj stramborellas blend of classic naija tunes mixed with both foreign and local flavour that tore the whole place apart. It was indeed a master at work. If we can recall, dj stramborella was the same dj for peter and lola's wedding by november last year in lagos. Peter is the twin brother of paul.
