Play Her First Post-Prison Show in New York
On Thanksgiving Eve, The Fugees member will take the stage at
New York's Bowery Ballroom and play two shows that will be held at 06:00 P.M.
and 10:00 P.M.
Nearly two months after being released from prison, Lauryn Hill reveals
her plan to get back to work. The member of The Fugees has
announced that she will take the stage at Bowery Ballroom in New
York City on Thanksgiving Eve.
Marking her first gig after completing a three-month prison stint in a Danbury, Connecticut jail, Hill will perform two shows that night. The first show begins at 06:00 P.M. while the second one at 10:30 P.M.. Tickets are available for $100 through Ticketmaster.
Hill, who was jailed for charges of tax evasion, is still expected to embark on a tour later this month. Shortly after her release, the 38-year-old musician was granted a permission by U.S. Magistrate Court Judge Madeline Cox Arleo to go out on tour from November 15 to December 31.
After finishing the tour, the eight-time Grammy award-winning singer will immediately begin serving a three-month stint on house arrest at her home in South Orange, New Jersey.
