Brown is arrested along
with a bodyguard after the 'With You' singer allegedly hit a man in the face
outside a Washington D.C. hotel.
Chris Brown
was arrested and charged with felony assault in Washington D.C. on Sunday,
October 27 after he allegedly was involved in a feud with a man outside W hotel.
A spokesperson for the police said that the incident took place at around 4:30
A.M. Brown allegedly got into an argument with the man and punched him in the
face. Brown's bodyguard was also arrested following the incident.
The alleged victim told TMZ that at that time he and a friend saw Brown taking a picture with two women on sidewalk and he decided to jump into the photo. Brown reportedly got angry and said, "I'm not down with that gay s**t," and "I feel like boxing," before hitting him in the face, breaking his nose. The alleged victim received treatment in a hospital and was released in the afternoon.
Sources close to the situation, however, said that the claim was not true. According to the sources, the man tried to enter Brown's tour bus and the singer as well as his bodyguard were trying to stop him. The two women mentioned by the man reportedly attempted to get into Brown's tour bus prior to the incident and were stopped.
Brown and the bodyguard were taken into custody. The singer, who is on probation after assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, is expected to stay in jail until he appears in court on Monday.
