Timbaland Releases New Track 'The Party Anthem'

Hip-hop artist and mega record producer Timbaland has just released a new track from his free music initiative "Timbaland Thursday". Entitled "The Party Anthem", the track was first recorded in 2012 but got released only now, through his SoundCloud page and via Twitter under the #TimboGiftBag series.

Timbaland's frequent collaborator, the five-time Grammy Award-winner Missy Elliott, appears on this track, which also features fellow hip-hop artist/rapper Lil Wayne and hip-hop/R'n'B artist and record producer T-Pain. With such big names in the industry appearing on this track, it could have been the perfect carrier single for his upcoming "Shock Vallue III" album.

The release of "The Party Anthem" might have been a little delayed as it got dropped only today. It would have seemed more apt to release it on New Year's Eve since, as the title implies it's the "party anthem." The track is the latest in a string of recent song releases by the award-winning record producer.

Timbaland has a vast catalog of unreleased tracks which he shares with fans and followers every Thursday via his "Timbaland Thursdays" online free music initiative. His upcoming album "Shock Value III" will feature popular artists Pitbull, Sebastian, Lindsay Lohan, Keli Hilson, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, and Rick Rose. In recent years, Timbaland has collaborated with Chris Brown for his album "F.A.M.E.", with David Guetta for his LP "Nothing but the beat", and with Demi Lovato for her "Unbroken" album.
